The May Edit
What we're buying, eyeing, and overly obsessed with right now

Susie’s favorite recent purchases:
This Alice & Olivia pink dress got so many compliments recently - and I also just bought the dress on the style board above
This Zimmermann gold clutch my daughter made me buy
Mother Lemon Twist jeans in white, ecru and faded blue. I never buy the same jean twice, but I think this is the one style that makes every outfit so cool
Em’s favorite recent purchases:
Leggings & sports bra… this new blue color was not on my radar but now it’s all I want to wear
Reformation knit top (more colors here)
Zara slingbacks. Perfect heel height and so cute with a baggy pair of jeans
Travel plans:
We’re currently in the midst of planning our summer vacation and a few places we’re considering — Sicily, Puglia, St. Tropez, Portofino. Em is pushing for Lake Como, but I think it sounds cold!

Hotels we’re dreaming about:
Villa Timeo in Sicily - after seeing this on Instagram. reading this review. And of course Passalacqua in Lake Como because who wouldn’t love sipping Aperol Spritzes while boating around the lake.
The summer salad we can’t stop making:
Tomatoes, peaches and burrata with basil, drizzled with Durant Cellars olive oil and a pinch or two of Jacobsen sea salt. A household favorite that everyone loves — even my picky son.
The trends we’re obsessing over:

Studs!! Look at these Veronica Beard jeans & matching tee
Pouch handbags: option one, two or three.
Statement jewelry: love these turquoise earrings, the Juju Vera shell necklace seen all over Instagram or this pendant necklace
Flip flops might as well be our summer uniform. Havaianas, these green jelly sandals or these - IYKYK.
What We’re Doing in May:
Em: I’ll be headed to Nashville for the first time at the end of the month for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. Any recommendations are welcome!! (please comment).
Susie: We decided to join a new wine club at LucidWild Estate — even though we definitely don’t need any more wine. It’s hard to explain why a winery can be so cool, so I looked it up and here’s the rundown: a highly immersive, luxurious and “playful” wine experience in the Dundee Hills, featuring stunning sky terraces, wine caves with panoramic views and a hidden speakeasy. I mean… if you’re heading to Oregon Wine Country any time soon, I highly recommend it. It was that good.
